Nard Oil Description

Spikenard oil essential oil was the main ingredient of the perfume nardinum, one of Rome's most celebrated scented oils. It has a musky aroma that can anchor sweet floral scents well and is a good substitute fixative for recipes that call for animal musk, which is not used in aromatherapy. It also combines well with other Biblical aromatics such as frankincense and myrrh.
