Tamanu Oil For Body Care
Tamanu is a very rich, thick and lucious, dark green nut oil from the tropical paradise of Hawaii. Fiji natives use Tamanu oil for joint pains, arthritis, bruises, oozing wounds, chapped lips and preventing diaper rash.
Use tamanu oil sparenly when appling undiluted. Just a few drops goes along way; apply directly to trouble spots like the elbows, heels, and to help heal cuts and rashes. Tamanu has a pleasant, mild and slighty nutty scent that is very pleasing and can work well as a carrier oil. For an all body oil massage, you can blend tamanu with less expensive oils to "stretch" it, and lighten it.
